In 2022 this raised bed was bursting with both blooms and veggies!
Tiny tomato plants were bearing tiny tomatoes.
An unusual purple-and-white Lupine was growing a second bloom atop the first. Merry Marigolds helped to deter unfriendly bugs. Multiple colors of Dahlias delighted the eyes and had carefully placed stakes nearby in case of a growth spurt. The front border of the bed was graced with purple Alyssum, and the whole bed had a feeling of careful planning. Finally, a tiny bird peeked cheerfully past the perky Pansies, adding character and an homage to fauna.
