In 2016 a few of the members of Covenant United Methodist Church formed a club of gardeners in hopes to have a community garden next to the church. Many MANY hours of committee meetings later they discovered that this was going to be a bit harder than they had anticipated. But, they were NOT to be discouraged and were determined to make this happen. With a new burst of energy, doors started opening, community networking connections came from every direction, and donations were being made.

September 2017, we officially broke ground on the garden build!

Now, through tireless efforts and generous donations from church members and the local community, businesses, and organizations, Eden Community Gardens is now a functioning community garden with over 40 raised beds in use. We still have much to accomplish, but it has really taken shape. We are deeply indebted to all who have helped make this happen.
