How many plastic bottles and jars are in your bathroom? How many disposable items end up in the trash? Here are some ideas to make your bathroom more creation friendly.

*Plastic Shampoo and Conditioner Bottles- Swap for shampoo and conditioner bars. Rub directly on wet hair. You can grate a conditioner bar into a plastic jar with lid, fill with water to make a paste, dip fingers in the jar and rub into hair. Keep the shampoo bar in a watertight container or it will be a puddle of goo!

*Toothpaste Tubes- Swap for toothpaste tablets. They are available with or without fluoride. Simply chew and brush as usual.

*Dental Floss and Picks- Look for floss in refillable glass containers. Floss picks now come in plant-based material instead of plastic.

*Body Wash- Swap for a bar of soap! Look for bars without plastic packaging.

*Hand Soap- Swap for bar soap, or try foaming soap tablets or concentrated liquid, which are just added to water in your reusable foam soap pump.

*Bathroom Cleaners- Swap for concentrates or tablets and add water in your reusable spray bottles.
